Establishes a Hawaii hemp industry task force within the department of agriculture to gather data and develop strategies to support the state's hemp industry.

Task force composition includes the board of agriculture chairperson (serving as chair), director of health, house agriculture committee chair, seven hemp farmers (one per island proportionate to USDA licenses), and one representative each from fuel, building, fiber, cannabinoid, and grain food sectors.

Task force shall gather data from hemp economists, regulators in other states, retailers, and industry groups to identify farmer and industry needs and recommend policy strategies for developing a vibrant hemp industry in Hawaii.

Department of agriculture shall provide administrative support and prepare the task force report for submission to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 regular legislative session.

Task force dissolves on June 30, 2024; members serve without compensation.
