H.B. 1453 - Naturopathic Medicine; Continuing Education

• Expands acceptable sources for continuing education courses required by naturopathic physicians for license renewal to include state or province naturopathic licensing boards and accredited naturopathic medicine programs.

• Adds programs accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education as an approved source for continuing education, alongside existing professional associations approved by the board.

• Requires documentation submitted to the board to identify the approving entity, including the name of the state or province licensing board, accredited naturopathic medicine program, or professional association that approved the course.

• Takes effect upon approval.
