Authorizes county governing bodies to create ordinances establishing processes for recording and enforcing solar easements through declarations filed with the county clerk.

Permits solar easement declarations to describe the easement using measurable terms such as vertical or horizontal angles in degrees or hours of day on specified dates when direct sunlight cannot be obstructed.

Allows solar easements to be treated as easements appurtenant and enforced through lawsuits at law or in equity, with instruments recorded in the bureau of conveyances or land court.

Permits counties to adopt ordinances requiring trimming of vegetation that blocks solar radiation from solar energy devices, with authority to designate responsibility for trimming costs.

Prohibits ordinances from requiring vegetation trimming if the property owner planted the vegetation before the solar energy device was installed.
