Establishes the Hawaii Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program to be administered by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board in compliance with the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

Program applicants must be either current employees of accredited public schools or public charter schools in Hawaii, or individuals hired to begin working at an approved school.

Successful program completers who meet all teacher licensing requirements will receive a teaching license issued by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.

Mentors participating in the program shall receive a $3,000 stipend upon meeting established requirements.

Appropriates unspecified general revenues for fiscal year 2024-2025 to establish the program, with an effective date of July 1, 3000 (except appropriation section effective July 1, 2024).
