Appropriates general revenues to the Department of Land and Natural Resources for vegetation management projects to reduce wildfire risks across the State during fiscal year 2024-2025.

Appropriates general revenues to the Department of Transportation for vegetation management projects to reduce wildfire risks across the State during fiscal year 2024-2025.

Declares that the appropriations will exceed the state general fund expenditure ceiling for fiscal year 2024-2025 as necessary to serve the public interest and address wildfire prevention needs.

Authorizes vegetation management activities including clearing firebreaks, removing flammable vegetation (dried grass, shrubs, dead branches), and trimming vegetation to create fuel breaks on approximately 400,000 acres of land and 350 miles of roads statewide.

Becomes effective July 1, 2024.
