Director of Finance authorized to issue $120,000,000 in general obligation bonds for University of Hawaii at Manoa capital improvement projects in fiscal year 2024-2025.

$40,000,000 allocated for student housing repairs and modernization including Hale Wainani plumbing and fire alarm replacement, Frear Hall roof replacement, and Wainani low rise roof replacement.

$80,000,000 allocated for Hale Noelani renovation equipment and appurtenances to improve livability of five Noelani buildings.

Appropriated funds do not lapse at end of fiscal year, but any unencumbered moneys lapse as of June 30, 2026.

Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
