Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 707-700 to expand the definition of "emergency worker" to include telecommunications dispatchers as a new category (7).

Defines telecommunications dispatchers to include call-takers, police, fire, or emergency medical dispatchers, and other dispatch personnel who operate 9-1-1 terminals and provide critical information analysis and emergency response coordination.

Effective date is January 1, 2024.
