Requires the Department of Human Resources Development to conduct a study reviewing the repricing processes in section 89-9, Hawaii Revised Statutes, which governs reassignment of employee classes to different pay ranges.

Study must evaluate whether existing repricing review processes are adequate and appropriate, with consideration for equal pay for equal work requirements and consistent evaluation systems to ensure compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination employment laws.

Department must invite participation from county representatives, Hawaii Health Systems Corporation, judiciary, Department of Education, Hawaii Government Employees Association, United Public Workers/AFSCME Local 646, and other relevant employers or agencies.

Department shall submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2024 regular legislative session convenes.

Act takes effect on June 30, 3000.
