• Requires the School Facilities Authority to work with the Department of Education to prioritize projects for construction of educator workforce housing for teachers and department staff.

• Mandates the School Facilities Authority include in its annual report planned actions for increasing educator workforce housing over the next one, three, and five years, including affordable transportation options and benchmarks to measure effectiveness.

• Requires the Department of Education to submit a preliminary report by twenty days before the 2025 legislative session on the status of lands designated for transfer to the department under Act 307 (2022), including recommendations for prioritizing remaining land transfers.

• Directs the Department of Education to collaborate with the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Maui County, Kauai County, and other relevant agencies in preparing the preliminary report.

• Effective date: July 1, 3000.
