Requires employers to pay any renewal fees for professional licenses held by employees when those licenses are necessary for the employee to perform their job duties.

Excludes initial professional license fees from the employer payment requirement.

Requires employees who leave employment to repay the employer a prorated amount of the renewal fee based on the remaining term of the license.

Does not apply to rights, duties, penalties, or proceedings that existed before the effective date.

Effective date of June 30, 3000.
