Establishes a business revitalization task force within the department of business, economic development, and tourism to identify methods improving Hawaii's economic competitiveness and business climate, including reducing regulatory and tax burdens.

Task force membership includes the directors of business/economic development, commerce/consumer affairs, taxation, and labor/industrial relations; one small business regulatory review board member; the dean of University of Hawaii at Manoa's Shidler College of Business; and county economic development directors.

Legislative leadership shall invite representatives from construction, agriculture, visitor, food, retail, high technology industries, and regional/ethnic chambers of commerce to participate.

Task force shall meet at least quarterly and submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the legislature no later than 40 days before the 2026 regular session convening.

Task force dissolves on June 30, 2026; bill takes effect July 1, 3000.
