Transfers administration of the Human Trafficking Victim Services Fund from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to the Department of the Attorney General.

Fund revenue comes from human trafficking victim services fees imposed on individuals convicted of trafficking offenses under part VIII of chapter 707 or related crimes under part I of chapter 712.

Fund moneys support comprehensive services to human trafficking victims, including basic necessities, food, toiletries, and access to licensed residential treatment facilities.

Department of the Attorney General must submit annual written reports to the legislature no later than 20 days before each regular session detailing fund receipts, expenditures, and recommendations for victim support improvements.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
