Expands automatic renewal law to apply to contracts with specified terms of one month or more (previously required terms of more than one month)

Requires sellers to disclose automatic renewal clauses and cancellation procedures clearly and conspicuously in consumer contracts

Mandates notice of material changes to automatic renewal terms be provided to consumers at least 30 days before the effective date of any change

Exempts from the law: financial institutions under chapter 412, insurers under chapters 431/432/432D and their affiliates, entities regulated under chapter 481X and their affiliates, telecommunications providers under chapter 269, and cable operators under chapter 440G

Takes effect July 1, 3000
