• Requires pharmacists administering vaccines to complete a training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or equivalent before administering any vaccine.

• Mandates pharmacists provide vaccination records to patients immediately and notify the patient's medical home within 72 hours and the state health department immunization registry within 5 business days, including vaccine details, lot number, expiration date, method and site of administration.

• Allows pharmacists to administer vaccines authorized by the FDA that are ordered and administered according to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices standard immunization schedule, with no requirement for a valid prescription.
