Department of Transportation shall identify appropriate land under its jurisdiction to re-establish and operate the Ellison Onizuka Space Center museum.

Department of Transportation shall coordinate the redevelopment with the Onizuka family and Onizuka Memorial Committee.

Department of Transportation may enter into contracts for museum design and construction, subject to chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Legislature appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal year 2024-2025 for the Department of Transportation to re-establish and operate the Ellison S. Onizuka Space Center (specific dollar amount left blank in bill text).

Act takes effect on July 1, 2024, and the appropriation is declared to exceed the state general fund expenditure ceiling for 2024-2025.
