• Adds new section to Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 482 prohibiting approval of trade name, trademark, or service mark registrations that relate to or refer to a federally declared disaster within 90 days of the disaster declaration.

• Defines "federally declared disaster" using the same meaning as provided in title 26 United States Code section 165.

• Takes effect upon approval.
