Establishes a Smoking Sensor Rebate Program administered by the Department of Health to incentivize installation of smoking sensors that detect smoking incidents in smoking-prohibited areas.

Eligible applicants receive a rebate equal to either a specified percentage of the retail cost or a fixed dollar amount (whichever is less), with a maximum individual annual rebate cap, subject to available funds from the tobacco prevention and control trust fund.

Department sets no more than a specified maximum total rebate expenditure per fiscal year and requires applicants to submit claims within a specified timeframe of sensor installation or forfeit the rebate.

Applicants must provide reasonable documentation to verify claim validity, including proof that the installation is eligible; Department may contract with a third-party administrator to operate the program.

Effective date set for July 1, 3000 (appears to contain a clerical error in the year).
