Amends Section 414D-147 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to add a new subsection (c) exempting planned community associations governed by chapter 421J and condominium associations governed by chapter 514B from quorum and voting requirements in the Hawaii Nonprofit Corporations Act.

Maintains existing quorum requirements that a majority of directors in office must be present, with a minimum of one-third of directors or two directors, whichever is greater.

Preserves the requirement that affirmative votes of a majority of directors present constitute board action unless the articles or bylaws require a greater number.

Effective date is July 1, 2040.
