Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 388-9.7 to allow the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations to file certified copies of final wage payment violation orders in any court of competent jurisdiction, rather than exclusively in circuit courts.

Permits enforcement proceedings to be brought in district courts, which have expedited deadlines and are equipped to handle smaller claims more efficiently.

Court judgments rendered from filed wage payment violation orders have the same effect as judgments from duly heard and determined actions, with no right of appeal.

Addresses legislative findings that current circuit court-only enforcement procedures delay wage reimbursements to employees and create inefficiencies in the wage violation enforcement process.

Takes effect upon approval and does not affect rights, duties, penalties, or proceedings that began before the effective date.
