Establishes a peer support specialist working group within the Office of Wellness and Resilience to develop a statewide framework for peer support specialists in Hawaii.

Working group membership includes state agency directors, judiciary representative, nonprofit sector members, and individuals with lived experience in mental health, child welfare, corrections, homelessness, and substance abuse recovery.

Working group must develop recommendations including clear role definitions, ethics standards, training and certification processes, requirements for state contracts, and quality improvement metrics.

Requires submission of findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 regular session; working group terminates June 30, 2025.

Appropriates $66,400 for fiscal year 2024-2025 to fund the working group and contract for an administrative facilitator.
