Renames the Hawaii Health Corps Program to the Hawaii Rural Health Care Provider Loan Program to better reflect its expanded purpose and scope.

Updates Chapter 309H of Hawaii Revised Statutes to replace all references to "Hawaii health corps" with "Hawaii rural health care provider loan program" throughout the chapter.

Maintains the program's focus on providing loan repayments to eligible physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who commit to service in underserved areas, with administration by University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and University of Hawaii at Manoa School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene.

Permits loan repayment assistance of up to 20 percent of health care training costs, including tuition not exceeding $35,000 per year for a maximum of five years.

Takes effect on July 1, 3000 (note: contains apparent drafting error in effective date).
