• Adds a new exemption to Hawaii's Uniform Information Practices Act (UIPA) to protect critical infrastructure information from public disclosure requirements.

• Exempts government records concerning actual, potential, or threatened attacks on critical infrastructure through physical or cyber-based means that violate law, harm interstate commerce, or threaten public health and safety.

• Protects assessments, projections, and estimates of critical infrastructure vulnerabilities, including security testing, risk evaluation, and risk management planning.

• Shields operational information related to critical infrastructure repair, recovery, reconstruction, and continuity planning when connected to potential attacks or interference.

• Takes effect April 14, 2112.
