Establishes a fireshed partnership program within the Department of Land and Natural Resources, overseen by a fireshed partnership program coordinator exempt from civil service requirements.

Program shall establish a network of fireshed partnerships among managers of private, county, state, and federal lands to plan and implement fire-risk reduction through fuels management, resource mapping, and educational exchange.

Creates a fireshed management special fund to receive legislative appropriations, donations, grants, and interest earnings for supporting positions and contracts to implement fireshed partnerships by June 30, 2029.

Fund moneys shall be expended to identify fire suppression resources and hazardous fuels, develop cross-boundary partnerships and memoranda of understanding among landowners, and expand fuels-management demonstrations such as grazing, green strips, and fuel breaks.

Program coordinator and fireshed management special fund positions shall be funded through fiscal year 2024-2025 appropriations from general revenues and the special fund.
