Increases penalties for leaf blower violations to $100 for first offense, $250 for second offense, and $500 for each subsequent violation (previously $50, $100, and $200).

Removes exemption that previously allowed government entities and their agents to be excluded from leaf blower restrictions.

Prohibits the sale of leaf blowers and string trimmers rated by manufacturers at greater than 65 weighted decibels (dBA) when measured at 50 feet, effective July 1, 2027.

Adds "string trimmer" to the statute title and defines it as a garden tool using whirling monofilament line to cut grass, small weeds, and groundcover.
