Adds a new section to Chapter 346, Hawaii Revised Statutes requiring persons exempt from licensing, licensed child care providers, and their employees to annually submit 14 categories of information to the Department of Human Services.

Required information includes gender, ethnicity, age, years of paid child care experience, preferred learning language, and languages spoken to children.

Required information also includes median hourly wage, paid planning time hours and rate, health insurance benefits summary, paid sick leave hours, paid vacation hours, and retirement benefits summary.

Required information includes whether the person participated in an apprenticeship program and their education level, credentials, certificates, and degrees.

Department shall compile the collected information into a database, either by creating a new database or adding to an existing one; takes effect July 1, 2023.
