Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 52D-3.5(b) to modify when county police departments must disclose the identity of suspended or discharged officers in annual reports to the legislature

Police officer identity disclosure now requires completion of the highest nonjudicial grievance adjustment procedure, issuance of a written decision sustaining the suspension or discharge, and passage of 90 calendar days after the decision

Requires annual reports to summarize misconduct facts, specify disciplinary actions, identify other incidents by the same officer, and state the status of grievance adjustment procedures

Reports must disclose whether incidents concern criminal conduct and whether the county prosecuting attorney was notified

Takes effect upon approval
