Department of Labor and Industrial Relations shall conduct an actuarial study on a potential leave grant pilot program for small businesses with up to 100 employees to offer paid family leave and sick leave to their employees

Study shall identify the potential costs of grants to be paid to small businesses and the costs to administer the pilot program

Department shall submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than 20 days before the 2024 regular legislative session

General revenues are appropriated for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 to fund the actuarial study (specific amount left blank in bill text)

Act takes effect on June 30, 3000
