Amends Section 235-55.85 of Hawaii Revised Statutes to modify the refundable food/excise tax credit structure

For single filers, increases the income threshold from $30,000 to $40,000 for the $55 credit bracket

For heads of household, married individuals filing separately, and joint filers, increases the income threshold from $50,000 to $70,000 for the $35 credit bracket

Effective date is June 30, 3000
