• Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism requested to collaborate with state universities to convene the Hawaii Creative Innovation Group with members from public and private sectors.

• Group directed to identify pathways from middle and high school programs to career opportunities and determine facilities, equipment, and workforce development programs needed to support fashion and music industries.

• Group to identify key partners and develop strategy for growing creative sectors into new brands, companies, and value-added businesses in design, fashion, and technology.

• Group to outline investments required for innovation facilities, programs, and incentives including education/workforce training, infrastructure/equipment, funding access, export assistance for "Made in Hawaii" products, and supportive policies.

• Group required to submit report with findings and recommendations, including proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 Regular Session convenes.
