• Request the Department of Land and Natural Resources to convene a working group to inform the public about options for addressing Hawaii's feral chicken population.

• Working group membership includes representatives from DLNR, Board of Agriculture, Department of Health, one Senate member, one House member, communications directors from both chambers, and Honolulu Department of Customer Services, with invitations to The Nature Conservancy and Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions.

• Working group shall identify all current solutions available including trapping, contraceptives, home remedies, and sanctuaries.

• Working group shall determine the most effective means of communicating information to the public through public service announcements, print media, social media, or other methods, and identify funding sources.

• Working group shall submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the Regular Session of 2025.
