Urges the Governor and Board of Pharmacy to support the Lanai Community Health Center's telepharmacy pilot project that uses two-way audiovisual telecommunications to connect patients on Lanai with a pharmacist on Maui for prescription services.

Highlights that the pilot project, which began June 9, 2022, processed 5,838 prescriptions for 1,124 patients (averaging 486.5 prescriptions monthly as of June 15, 2023) with faster delivery and lower costs through the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program.

Notes that state law currently prohibits prescription drug operations without a registered pharmacist physically present, creating barriers for small rural communities unable to support full-time pharmacy staff.

Requests the Board of Pharmacy Chairperson report to the Legislature by 20 days before the 2025 Regular Session on whether telepharmacy should be authorized statutorily.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Board of Pharmacy, Mayor of Maui County, and related health organizations.
