Request that the Department of Land and Natural Resources identify all appropriate sites at Hawaii's state parks where water-bottle filling stations could be installed, including locations with existing water hook-up infrastructure.

Encourage consideration of multiple filling station sites at large state parks to maximize access for park visitors.

Acknowledge that 19 water-bottle filling stations in three styles were previously installed across Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii island through a 2018 grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Marine Debris Program.

Cite environmental and public health benefits including reduced single-use plastic pollution in state parks and marine environments, cost savings for residents, and reduced recycling processing expenses.

Require transmittal of a certified copy of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
