Urges the Department of Health to investigate and implement policies to reduce importation of food, beverages, packaging, and materials containing PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances) into Hawaii.

Identifies PFAS as persistent toxic substances that contaminate drinking water, bioaccumulate in fish and wildlife, and do not break down in the environment.

Notes that PFAS exposure is linked to increased cholesterol, reduced vaccine antibody response, liver enzyme changes, pregnancy complications, kidney and testicular cancer, and decreased fertility.

Acknowledges the EPA has reduced maximum contaminant levels for PFAS in drinking water but has not yet phased out PFAS production or use in everyday products.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the U.S. Department of Defense PFAS Task Force, Governor, Director of Health, and water supply managers across all Hawaiian counties.
