Recognizes Ashley Badis, Alexis Badis, Abigail Pothier, and Tatiana Arteaga as trailblazers for gender equality in Hawaii high school sports.

Credits the four James Campbell High School graduates with advocating for female athletes by raising awareness about the lack of stand-alone locker rooms and unequal resources for girls' sports compared to boys' sports.

Acknowledges their 2018 federal class-action lawsuit filed with the ACLU of Hawai'i alleging Title IX violations, which led to the Hawaii State Legislature appropriating over $60 million in 2022 for new locker facilities for female athletes, including $6 million for James Campbell High School.

Notes that Ashley Badis received a Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award at the 2023 ESPY Awards and that the lawsuit was settled in late 2023 with a seven-year compliance plan including annual Title IX assessments and protections for students reporting violations.

Commends all four individuals for bringing change to James Campbell High School athletics so future female athletes may pursue opportunities without limitations.
