Requests the Department of Facility Maintenance of the City and County of Honolulu to clean three specific waterways in Waipahu: Waikele Stream, the canal adjacent to Bill Balfour Jr. Waipahu District Park at Paiwa Street, and the canal along Honowai Neighborhood Park and Honowai Elementary School.

Identifies problems with debris and overgrown vegetation in these streams and canals that cause siltation, property flooding, breaches, and impaired water flow.

Notes that poor stream and canal maintenance leads to clogged waterways that function poorly during rain events and create safety hazards for the community.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director and Chief Engineer of the Department of Facility Maintenance of the City and County of Honolulu.
