Requests Hawaii Office of Veterans' Services to prioritize policies and services expanding financial and other forms of benefits for Hawaii National Guard veterans, retirees, and veteran-owned small businesses.

Acknowledges that over 1,000 Hawaii National Guard members were deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, disrupting their personal and professional lives.

Recognizes that Hawaii National Guard veterans and retirees suffered significant income loss while mobilized but continued facing expenses such as mortgages, rent, car payments, child care, and tuition.

States the State of Hawaii bears a sacred responsibility to provide maximum support to Hawaii National Guard veterans and retirees in recognition of their service.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Hawaii Office of Veterans' Services, the Advisory Board on Veterans' Services, and the Adjutant General for the Hawaii Department of Defense.
