Amends Section 249-6.5 of Hawaii Revised Statutes to add veterans to the vehicle weight tax exemption for noncommercial motor vehicles.

Exempts one noncommercial motor vehicle registered to a veteran from the vehicle weight tax, provided the veteran was not dishonorably discharged from any branch of the armed forces of the United States.

Maintains existing exemption for National Guard members, military reserves, and active duty military personnel assigned to a unit in Hawaii and in good standing.

Effective date is July 1, 2050.
