Changes the Department of Education's reporting requirement on autism spectrum disorder from quarterly to annual reports under Act 205, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018.

Annual reports must include: the number of students eligible for special education services under autism spectrum disorder with an individualized education program; the number of students requiring applied behavior analysis; staffing updates and needs; Medicaid reimbursement schedules and amounts; licensure updates; and other pertinent implementation information.

Removes the requirement for one category previously tracked (the number of students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder) and consolidates the reporting from four quarterly submissions to one annual submission.

Takes effect upon approval.
