Establishes a Therapeutic Psilocybin Working Group within the Department of Health to examine the medicinal and therapeutic effects of psilocybin for treating mental health conditions including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and end-of-life psychological distress.

Working group shall examine federal and state laws, medical research on psilocybin efficacy and safety, and existing regulations in Oregon and Colorado where medicinal psilocybin is legal.

Working group composition includes the Executive Director of the Office of Wellness and Resilience (chair), Attorney General, Dean of the John A. Burns School of Medicine, legislative committee chairs, mental health council chair, physicians, psychiatrists, and other invited experts.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2025 regular session convening, then dissolve on June 30, 2025.

Appropriates unspecified general revenue funds for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 to support the working group's operations; bill takes effect December 31, 2050.
