Amend Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92-21 to require public officers to furnish copies of government records in the format requested by the applicant, provided that format is available.

Change language from "which" to "that" and replace "the same" with "copy of the government record" for grammatical clarity in the public records statute.

Require government agencies to provide records in the requested format upon payment of reasonable reproduction costs, with a minimum cost of 5 cents per page for non-geographic information system records.

Take effect upon approval.
