Requires the Department of Education to develop and implement a statewide behavioral health curricula plan for public school students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Curriculum must include age-appropriate instruction on mental and emotional health, personal health and wellness, healthy eating and physical activity, safety and injury prevention, violence prevention, tobacco use prevention, alcohol and drug use prevention, and sexual health and responsibility.

Department shall determine which courses will integrate behavioral health curricula into their instruction.

Only qualified health teachers are permitted to teach behavioral health courses.

Act takes effect upon approval.
