HI SB2020

Adds new subsection (12) to Section 481A-3(a) making it a deceptive trade practice to advertise, display, or offer a price for goods or services that does not include all mandatory fees or charges.

Creates exceptions to the mandatory fee disclosure requirement for taxes or fees imposed by government and for postage or carriage charges that will be reasonably and actually incurred to ship physical goods.

Adds new subsection (c) to Section 481A-5 exempting broadband internet access service providers from the mandatory fee disclosure requirement if they comply with federal broadband consumer label requirements under 47 CFR 8.1(a).

Makes technical updates to existing deceptive trade practice language, changing "which" to "that" in subsection (13).

Takes effect July 1, 2040.
