Allows government agencies to publish public notices on an official website as an alternative to publishing in daily or weekly newspapers for statewide or county-wide notices.

Adds a new option (subsection 3) to Hawaii Revised Statutes section 1-28.5 permitting notice posting on an electronic calendar maintained on official state or county websites for legal notices.

Maintains existing requirements for newspaper publication in daily or weekly publications while making website posting an acceptable alternative rather than a requirement to replace print notices.

Affirms that more specific statutes governing transparency and public administration (chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes) are not superseded by this change to general notice requirements.

Takes effect upon approval.
