Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 803-37 to require law enforcement officers to post notice upon completion of any warranted or warrantless search, including the report number, date, time, reason for entering, and office contact number for at least one officer involved.

Requires officers to secure any entrances used during a warranted or warrantless search of a house, store, or other building upon completion of the search.

Authorizes courts to allow officers to obtain technical assistance from individuals or entities within or outside the State for examining electronic devices or storage media designated in search warrants, provided the officer submits a sworn statement certifying their reliability and qualifications.

Clarifies that no individual or entity can be compelled to provide technical assistance without their consent.

Takes effect on July 1, 3000.
