Establishes a Silver Alert Program within the Department of Law Enforcement to rapidly disseminate information about missing vulnerable persons.

Authorizes law enforcement agencies to request silver alert activation when a missing person is 65 years or older, cognitively impaired, or developmentally disabled, and meets specified criteria including credible threat to health and safety.

Permits the department to use Wireless Emergency Alerts System, be-on-the-lookout alerts, electronic flyers, and changeable message signs to disseminate alert information.

Encourages but does not require radio, television, cable, and satellite systems to cooperate in disseminating silver alert information.

Appropriates $250,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2024-2025 to establish and operate the silver alert program, effective July 1, 2024.
