Appropriates funds to establish 4.0 full-time equivalent archaeologist positions and 1.0 full-time equivalent historic preservation specialist position within the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Land and Natural Resources for fiscal year 2024-2025.

Requires the State Historic Preservation Division to collaborate with the Department of Accounting and General Services on matters relating to historic preservation.

Declares that the general fund expenditure ceiling for fiscal year 2024-2025 will be exceeded by the appropriations in this Act and Act 164 of the 2023 Regular Session.

States the appropriation is necessary to serve the public interest and meets the needs of historic preservation by improving interdepartmental communication, expediting preservation mandates, and enhancing project management.

Takes effect on July 1, 2112.
