Directs the Department of Health to adopt recommendations for lead screening, including testing schedules aligned with the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment program for Medicaid-enrolled children.

Allows the Department of Health to adjust screening recommendations after five years if data collection shows testing at specified intervals is no longer necessary, with findings reported to the legislature 20 days before the next regular session.

Exempts minors from mandatory lead screening if their parent, guardian, or individual in loco parentis objects to testing.
