Amends Section 377-9, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to allow the Hawaii Labor Relations Board to admit and consider hearsay evidence in its proceedings.

Removes the existing prohibition stating "No hearsay evidence, however, shall be admitted or considered" from the board's procedural rules.

Maintains that the board remains not bound by technical rules of evidence while permitting consideration of hearsay evidence that may qualify under exceptions in the Hawaii Rules of Evidence.

Takes effect on July 1, 2024.
