• Requires the Department of Education to include financial literacy instruction in the existing personal transition plan requirement for all high school students beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

• Defines "financial literacy" to include curriculum addressing financial skills, personal financial management, budgeting, debt, credit, and tax planning.

• Allows schools to develop their financial literacy programs based on stakeholder input or provide the instruction systemically within their school programs.

• Takes effect upon approval.
