Allows minors under age 16 to work in theatrical employment with a valid certificate of employment and parental or guardian accompaniment.

Requires a nurse certified in basic life support to accompany and supervise minors under age one on set.

Requires a set teacher (holding valid Hawaii or equivalent state teaching license) to be on set when minors age 5+ are excused from school for 3+ consecutive days and must work during school attendance periods.

Limits set teachers to supervising no more than 10 minors when variance from work hour restrictions is granted by the director.

Removes theatrical employment from the list of occupations under which only minors under 14 may work, establishing it as separate category with specific requirements and safeguards.
